peace goals
for my short term goal i will smile more than i usually do..since i dont at all....and for my long term goal i will try to show anyone that comes a long i will show them that there is no need to resort to violence in order to obtain something(:
inner peace
inner peace has various meanings. personally i see it as a state of mind.if one has their mind at ease they usually tend to be peaceful. some of us can never obtain inner peace and i believe it has to do with not being able to forgive and forget or holding grudges. we are never promised tomorrow but when the next day comes around i believe you should take it as a fresh start.

op-ed
Peace has been a difficult to obtain for centuries. Many believe to be at peace while some have constant wars occurring. Peace can be defined in several ways, which defeats the meaning for others. Some peaceful actions contradict the typical meaning of peace; this can create controversies in finding a resolution for peace.
The one element I believe prevents peace internationally is the government. It does not matter what type of government any country has because they all have the power to change their countries perspective. The government manipulates what they want their citizens to believe for their advantage. They misinform the people, causing false judgment, which leads to assumptions. The truth is not peaceful and that is something that makes it difficult for the government to be open about what really is happening in ones country.
On September 11, 2001, the world trade center was attacked. This was a victory for some and a great loss for others. This is a great example of how the government manipulates events and information to their liking. the government has control on what should be the first piece of information they should announce to the public. The order of the information presented can have an effect on how the public portrays the situation.
Not everyone is politically knowledgeable, which can be downfall for those who are. Peace will not create itself. One must want to learn the truth in order to take action and correct and issue that can make a lifetime difference.
