"no homo" is probably one of the phrases i cannot stand, but i do understand it. homophobia has existed for years but i never really knew what i homosexual was till middle school. i have never really had a problem with homosexuals or would consider myself a homophone because i have met many gay people who are still respectful of others sexuality and religion. I do have a problem with homosexuals that dont respects others sexuality since they aren't gay...or when they try to marry in a religion who is against it...i am not against gay marriage but i believe that they should not intervene with others religious beliefs. There is many gay people that are tooooo open, not that there is anything wrong with that but if your making someone who isnt a homosexual feel uncomfortable then maybe they should take into consideration that person is accepting their difference but wants their sexuality to be respected.
The video sent out a pretty strong message without using many words. i think thats what made me see the power actions can do. bullying is bad news all over, homophobic bullying is personally one of the worst. Homophobic people do and say many cruel things that lead to deaths. Many homosexuals have taken their lives since they experience many feeling since they do not feel accepted or their lives have been threaten.
If we all can respect one another...and our beliefs....then maaaaybe thats all we really need(:
